ALLEN PARK — After a week of joint practices and an exhibition in Houston, the Detroit Lions are back home for a Week 3 preseason matchup with the Buffalo Bills Friday night at Ford Field.

While Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has yet to appear in preseason action, second-year pro Josh Allen has played 37 offensive snaps for the Bills through two exhibition contests. The Bills enter Friday’s dress rehearsal game at 2-0 while the Lions come in at 0-2.

Detroit lost to the New England Patriots 31-3 at home and then on the road to the Texans 30-23. The Bills beat the Indianapolis Colts 24-16 in Week 1 of the preseason and then followed that up with a 27-14 win against the Carolina Panthers.
